Patricia Gross has 15+ years of experience in International Public Health and Development. Ms. Gross currently works as an Independent International Development Consultant supporting nonprofits with grant writing, strategic planning, capacity building, and project management. Some of her professional interests include Reproductive Health, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, HIV/AIDS, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, International Social Work, and Recreation Therapy. Ms. Gross is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Mali (2001-2003) and Guyana Peace Corps Response (2009-2010).
She has a masters in public health and social sork from New Mexico State University. Ms. Gross received an undergraduate degree from Longwood College in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Special Education. Ms. Gross’s experience in the field of Social Work and Therapeutic Recreation has focused on special populations, family preservation, at-risk youth, developmental disabilities, experiential therapy, gender-based violence, and child protection.
