Patricia brings passion as well as strong project management, research utilization, business development, advocacy, groups facilitation, and strategic planning skills. She brings deep experience in international development, and her areas of technical knowledge includes sexual and reproductive health and rights, family planning, HIV/AIDS, and Orphans and Vulnerable Children. Between 2021-2023, Ms. Gross has been the lead technical writer on several successful grant proposals equalling over $90,000 USD.
Patricia also has extensive experience in global health issues including Malaria and tuberculosis treatment and prevention, infectious diseases, child protection, and gender and disability empowerment. She excels at facilitating the start-up phase of new engagements, and her strong writing and analytic skills result in compelling and valuable final products. She is also a talented group facilitator with capacity to lead interactive team building and group problem solving initiatives.
Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree from Longwood College in Therapeutic Recreation with a Minor in Special Education and later a dual master's degree of Public Health and Social Work from New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, NM. She previously lived and worked in several countries including Mali, Tanzania, and Haiti. She is conversant in French and Bambara.
Patricia loves taking on new challenges and learning opportunities. She is currently living in Oklahoma, learning the ins and outs of running a small business, and raising 3 amazing little boys. She also teaches outdoor preschool classes through Tinkergarten for children 2-8 years old.
